A good photo buddy from Doba Dura '43 days forwarded this video on Old Barns. I think you might find it interesting. It interested me because of my connection to Old Barns & Houses in N. E. Kansas.
It all started in a Kansas blizzard Jan. 10, 1924. Jonnie's mother came due and Dad had to hitch of the horses, drive 5 miles into Vermillion to get the Dr. And so Jonnie started her 87 year journey thru life.
Sixty years after the fact we paid a visit to the old place. It hadn't been occupied for about 30 years, and I took the two photos of the
derelict house she was born in. In 1935 her Dad had built a new barn on
the place. She says you'd have thought he had a new castle. That
would be barn No. 1. On some of our visits to the Sisters, while the
girls were visiting, I roamed around the country side photographing other
abandoned and derelict barns.
